BuyMore PayLess: Discounts (the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) helps Shopify merchants create and manage volume discount rules. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete information when a merchant installs or uses the App.

Information we collect

To provide the App, we may process the following merchant and store information:

• Shop domain and Shopify session information, including access tokens required to authenticate the App.
• Product or collection details selected by the merchant for a discount rule, such as IDs, titles, and images.
• Discount-rule settings created in the App, including names, quantity tiers, discount percentages, active status, and Shopify discount IDs.
• Limited technical information required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the App, such as request logs and error information.

The App does not intentionally collect customer payment information or customer personal information.

How we use information

We use this information only to:

• Authenticate the merchant and maintain the App session.
• Create, update, activate, deactivate, and delete discount rules in Shopify.
• Display and manage the merchant’s discount rules in the App.
• Maintain security, prevent misuse, and diagnose technical issues.

Storage and service providers

App data is stored using infrastructure operated by Cloudflare and a PostgreSQL database service. Shopify provides the platform APIs used to operate the App. We only share information with these service providers as needed to provide the App, comply with law, or protect the App’s security and rights.

We do not sell merchant data or use it for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

We retain App data only for as long as needed to provide the App. When the App is uninstalled, the App receives Shopify’s uninstall webhook and deletes the store’s saved sessions and discount-rule records. A merchant may also request deletion of their App data by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect App data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than the merchant’s country. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by those service providers for international data transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
